"IT DOESN'T GET MORE RELEVANT THAN DICK CHENEY'S HOLIDAY SPECTACULAR 2006"--The New York Post, 12/16/06
DICK CHENEY'S HOLIDAY SPECTACULAR 2006 was a bigger hit than ever. The show played to sold-out houses in New York City, and our media came through with such great reviews you would almost think we owned them. Our good friend Rupert Murdoch gave us the rave recommendation quoted above, but he wasn't the only one.
Check out what other embedded media had to say about the show:
Village Voice Choice--"Celebrate the holidays in the Veep's Bunker!"
Metro NY: Best Holiday Show to Attend with Your Vacationing College Student Siblings
NY Press:
"Most holiday festivities offer patrons mistletoe, re-gifted presents and soggy fruitcake, but only one promises to bring the Dick--Cheney, that is. Billionaires For Bush presents a heartwarming parody of our country's darling vice president when its performance group, The Billionaire Follies, takes on Bush's buddy in Dick Cheney's Holiday Spectacular 2006...their delightfully biting political satire will surely spread holiday cheer."
Off Off Online:
"Dick Cheney's Holiday Spectacular 2006...provides an early Christmas present to those who like their holiday carols pretty and their sketch comedy silly and dirty...An hour goes by fast when in the company of entertaining folks like these....If you find the Rankin/Bass animated specials a little too religious, and the Grinch a little too mushy, then Dick Cheney's got a spectacular he'd like to sell you."
TalkEntertainment:
"Jamie Jackson, with his fixed evil grin and wisps of white bushy hair atop his ears, is our right on host of the evening Dick Cheney. David Bennett is a fantastic Georgie Bush. If anyone could ever call Georgie Bush fantastic. Dave Case is a wicked guitar strumming Karl Rove."
Travel Lady Magazine:
"In the tradition of good satire, this tongue-in-cheek play-length musical skit by The Billionaire Follies, the performing wing of Billionaires for Bush, is witty political commentary and enormously entertaining."
With accolades like these, we're already cooking the books for next year's spectacular. To find out how to be involved, or how to bring next year's show to your gated community, please email Follies(at)BillionairesForBush.com.
