July 22, 2004 For More Information Contact: Seymour Benjamins National Co-chair 617.335.5607 seymour@billionairesforbush.com Pam Perd Director of Public Relations 917.769.6060 Pam.Perd@billionairesforbush.com FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Boston Million Billionaire March Set for July 27, 2004 Boston, MA, July 22, 2004 — Billionaires for Bush — activists for the upper, upper class — will converge on the streets of Boston during the Democratic National Convention (DNC) from July 26-29 to denounce the Kerry campaign and his cohorts for attempting to disrupt the Bush administration’s past four years of progress: finding more efficient means to pad the pockets of the rich, the very rich and the very, very rich. Moved by the spirit of “one dollar, one vote,” the Billionaires for Bush will rally for bigger tax cuts, the abolishment of social services and an end to corporate liability at their Million Billionaire March on July 27. “The Democrats’ platform is all about the little people,” lamented Seymour Benjamins, National Co-chair of Billionaires for Bush. “Corporations are people, too — and after all, aren’t they the ones that matter?” Billionaires for Bush from around the nation will march in protest of the Democrat agenda, which includes repealing Bush’s tax cuts for the wealthiest one percent, increasing the minimum wage with no regard for the cost to corporations, creating affordable healthcare at the expense of profits for the insurance and pharmaceutical industries, and instituting restrictive regulations on billionaire-owned energy companies. Ms. Mo Bludfer-Oyle, of the Boston Billionaires for Bush chapter, was adamant in her objections. “John Kerry is out to cripple corporate rule. And what’s this nonsense about giving Americans a living wage? We’ve already got one.” “I’m standing by the President,” said Mimi Knott-Yiu of the Boston Billionaires for Bush chapter. “Bush is the best investment we Billionaires have ever made.” The Boston Million Billionaire March will take place Tuesday, July 27, at 6:30pm. Beginning at the Rowes Wharf and concluding at the Massachusetts GOP headquarters at 85 Merrimac Street in Boston, Billionaires from Beverly Hills to Grosse Pointe will fire champagne corks at the misguided simpletons nominating John Kerry. The march will close with Billionaires presenting President Bush with a giant check, in the amount of “whatever it takes,” at the Massachusetts GOP headquarters at 7:30 p.m. The Billionaires for Bush will also launch their “Get on the Limo” Swing State Summer Tour on Wednesday, July 28th, at 10:15 a.m., following a joint news conference with America Coming Together (ACT), Arianna Huffington, and other groups at The Old West Church, 131 Cambridge Street (corner of Staniford St.). The Get on the Limo Tour will sweep through Midwest swing states to promote the platform of the wealthiest class, and conclude with great fanfare at the Republican National Convention in New York City August 29th.
